Two questions JLC Navy Seals Chrono

Hello,

I have two questions. I was thinking to sell it, but looks like I'll keep this beauty

1- The chrono can be used underwater? Example, I jump to the water, with the bezel I'm checking how much time I'm underwater, when I have to make the safety stop/s, I use the chrono to check.

2- In the manual I saw that you can't use the watch to dive with gas mixture with the diver spending alternating periods between the water and pressurised chamber. How about if you dive with gas mixture and you don't use the pressurised chamber (just make the safety stops to reach the surface), can I use the watch?
